Altierus Career College-Norcross launching HVAC, refrigerator technician programs – Gwinnett Daily Post
Open house set for Tuesday
Altierus Career College is inviting Gwinnett residents who are interested in learning about a career in heating, ventilation and air conditioning work to attend an open house at its Norcross campus this week.
College officials announced they are enrolling students for new HVAC and refrigerator technician programs that will begin at the Norcross campus in March. School officials said the programs are designed to address an expected 20 percent increase in the demand for HVAC jobs in Georgia that is anticipated to come by 2024.
“Atlanta has more jobs in the HVAC field than it has skilled individuals to fill those roles. Local employers have already expressed interest in being involved with a hands-on HVAC program that would fill the market need,” Altierus Career College-Norcross campus director Moses Delaney said in a statement.
