Annual Event Underscores Colleges’ Unwavering Dedication to Team Members’ Growth
ONTARIO, Calif.—Success Education Colleges (SEC) will gather once again for its annual Professional Development Conference (PDC) on Friday, December 8. To be held at the Ontario Convention Center, the one-day event will draw College faculty, staff, board members, leadership, and guest presenters for a day of learning and professional growth. The entire conference schedule can be found at SECPDC.com.
“We cannot wait for this year’s event,” shared SEC President Mitchell Fuerst. “The caliber of presenters is simply remarkable and I know the day will allow us to truly invest in our Team Members—a group of incredible individuals who continue to Educate Our Students for Success.”
Attendees will hear from Dr. Michale S. McComis, Executive Director of the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), and USC Professors Colin Coggins and Garrett Brown, bestselling authors of The Unsold Mindset—who will serve as keynote speakers for two of the conference’s general sessions. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to hear from a lineup of talented presenters from across the country who will come eager to share their expertise.
The conference format includes three general sessions along with targeted breakout sessions called Learning Labs, which hone in on a number of relevant topics. Grouped into four tracks—Nursing Faculty, Leadership, Compliance, and Faculty—these labs give Team Members a chance to personalize their day by attending sessions that best fit their role and professional development goals.
The conference will close with a number of Team Member and campus awards, including recognizing Team Member’s Years of Service and awarding SEC’s Campuses of Distinction.
“We could not have carried our mission to ‘Train students in short-term and professional programs for gainful employment and career advancement’ forward for more than 57 years without the tremendous Team Members who continue to take care of our students—to set them on a path toward a brighter future,” Fuerst shared. “We are humbled to look back at the tens of thousands of individuals who have gone on to rewarding careers, and we are confident SEC will continue to see students’ lives changed and their communities transformed by the power of quality career education.”
