Tulsa, Oklahoma, December 21st, 2018 – Community Care College officially announces its launch of a hybrid Fitness and Health Trainer program. This hybrid program will be a mix of online and hands-on work. Jill Spradlin, the Fitness and Health program department head for Community Care College, will be the instructor for this course. The hybrid FHT program begins in January.

“We found that a lot of people work full time and this is a great way for them to earn their diploma, get the hands-on experience they need, and still be able to fulfill family and employment obligations,” said Spradlin.

Hybrid programs allow students to be on campus one evening a week while going to school full-time. Overall Community HigherEd, the nonprofit over Community Care College, Clary Sage College, and Oklahoma Technical College, has introduced 6 new hybrid programs into their colleges this year. These programs include Fitness and Health Trainer, Business Industry Management, Medical Assistant, Accounting Specialist, Fashion Design, and Interior Design.

Community Care College Fitness and Health education goes above and beyond just NASM certification preparation. Their goal is to produce well-rounded fitness and health professionals for the growing fitness industry. Students who graduate from this program are prepared to become personal trainers, fitness managers, and fitness business owners.
