Here’s a List of Colleges’ Plans for Reopening in the Fall – The Chronicle of Higher Education

The coronavirus pandemic has left college leaders facing difficult decisions about when to reopen campuses and how to go about it. The Chronicle is tracking individual colleges’ plans.

Patricia McGuire, president of Trinity Washington University, wrote to say that while her institution has not settled on a specific direction, the coronavirus has illuminated the importance of flexibility.

“We do anticipate moving to far more online and hybrid coursework as a permanent feature, not just a pandemic response,” McGuire wrote. “A more flexible instructional delivery model will help us to be more responsive to whatever changes occur in the external environment.”

Beloit College — shifting to a “module based semester” to allow flexibility to move toward either online or in-person classes
