Those considering a career in the medical, dental or veterinary field are encouraged to check out one of Pima Medical Institute’s 16 campuses today through Thursday. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, visitors are welcome to see for themselves how well-equipped the school’s medical labs are and how hands-on training prepares them for the work force as soon as they graduate.
Throughout the Open House, guests have the opportunity to tour a campus, speak to current students and instructors and make an informed decision about enrolling in the medical career college.
“We want to encourage prospective students to find out how they can obtain a fulfilling healthcare career,” said Pima Medical Institute President and CEO, Fred Freedman. “Our Open House provides a fun, relaxed atmosphere that allows visitors to get a first-hand look at the learning environments we offer. Everyone who stops in can have their questions answered. They’re also provided with information they can take home and review. The idea of starting school, or returning to a campus can be daunting. We believe providing folks the opportunity to talk to current students, many who share similar life experiences, can be inspiring and informative.”
Freedman continued, “Obtaining a degree in the medical field isn’t easy, but at Pima Medical we believe in setting our students up for success by providing them with the tools necessary to not just survive the process, but to thrive – here and into their professional careers.”
