6/22/17 – All the legal briefs have been filed with the U.S. District Court in the ACICS lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Education. ACICS has requested oral argument in the matter and the Court has discretion to allow such argument but no date has yet been set for such argument.
The record before the Court is voluminous and there is also a dispute as to what should be included in the record. ACICS contends that the Department of Education has failed to include over 35,000 pages of pertinent documents.
A decision from the Court is expected over the next several months unless the case is resolved in some other manner before the Court issues its decision.
