ACICS Schools: Survey To Assist You (CSPEN)

As prior participants in CSPEN Webinars focused upon the plight of ACICS accredited institutions and your students, we are contacting you today to request that one representative (Owner/Director) from each ACICS institution take just a few minutes to fill out a survey designed to help PAPSA, NWCCF, and CSPEN among other state associations provide Congress, the U.S. Department of Education, and other key federal agencies (e.g. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement Division within the Homeland Security) with important information regarding your efforts to transition from ACICS to another recognized accrediting agency.

CSPEN and our sister association the Northwest Career College Federation are proud to partner with our friends and colleagues from the Pennsylvania Association of Private School Administrators (PAPSA) in developing and circulating of this survey. PAPSA has already circulated this survey to the ACICS institutions located within their state and received important insights that are beneficial in helping them inform their Congressional Delegation and the federal agencies. Now CSPEN would like to assist them in collecting additional data from other institutions outside of PA’s boarders.

To enable us to do so, if you are a school owner or director of one or more ACICS accredited institutions located outside of Pennsylvania, please take just a few minutes to fill out this anonymous survey by Friday, May 19, 2017.

PAPSA, NWCCF, and CSPEN will use the resulting information to continue our ongoing efforts to support preservation of students access and funding to complete their education at your institution and also promote the need for regulatory revisions and relief, and possibly even legislative changes as well, in support of your institution(s), ACICS in its continued effort to have the previous determination overturned, and additional support, guidance, and time for the other accrediting agencies and third-party servicers to assist your institution in completion of the transition to an alternative accrediting agency.
