ECPI University’s Columbia campus Cyber Team, DOwn the L1ne, competed in a national two day cyber competition on March 23 & 24th, a continuous 32 hour contest hosted by the Wicked 6 Cyber Games.

There were over 1,000 teams participating across the country including our local rivals, USC, Clemson, Charleston Southern, Citadel and Central Florida.

ECPI’s Columbia Team won FIRST PLACE in the main event, U.S. Cyber Range competition.

In addition, during the individual competition ECPI Columbia students took 2nd and 3rd place in the ICS Range competition.

And finally, our students took the top 12 spots in the Google, SimSpace, SecureWorks, and SANS competitions.

To compete in the Wicked 6 competition it is required to have a woman on the team. Columbia proudly has two women on their team. We could not have won without them! (We also have one Online student.) Congratulations to the team!!
