SALT LAKE CITY— Independence University is proud to announce three graduates who are being awarded the Distinguished Thesis Award for 2020. The Independence University Distinguished Thesis Award is given in recognition of outstanding work and effort by students in their reflective scholarship. These students are producing work that reflects a passion for learning, adds to the body of knowledge of the field of study, and represents significant effort to produce exemplary work.

Independence University awards the Distinguished Thesis Award to recognize these outstanding students. Recipients of the award are selected by an impartial committee whose criteria for selection includes the quality of the work, the impact on the profession, originality of the contribution, pertinence of the conclusions, and scholarly research. The winners of this award honor Independence University and are represented at the 2020 Graduation Commencement Ceremonies by a blue and red braided honor cord. The recipients will also receive a special plaque to memorialize their achievements.
