Company Celebration with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on April 25, 2022
April 24, 2022 marks the 25th anniversary for Unitech Training Academy. Through the years, Unitech has faced and overcome many hurdles with one goal in mind: the success of their students. Founder/Owner, Deanna Head, started the company in 1997 as a 36-year-old single mother with the hopes of passing on a legacy to her son. Fast-forward to 2022, CEO, Noah Brandon, is confidently running the company just as his mother, Deanna, imagined. Unitech will be celebrating their landmark event on Monday, April 25th, 2022 at their Lafayette Campus with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at the Unitech Lafayette Campus at 3253 Ambassador Caffery Parkway at 10 a.m. and is open to the public. One Acadiana is attending the event as well as other members of the community, Unitech employees, and students. Guests can enjoy a tour of the campus, chair massages courtesy of the Massage Therapy students, vital sign check-ins with the Medical Assisting students, and complimentary handmade bath items straight from the labs of the Pharmacy Technician students. Cupcakes and refreshments will be served for guests to enjoy.
Noah Brandon, remarked: “We are proud to celebrate twenty-five years of workforce development and enhancing lives through education. Career education is as important now as it has ever been. Our family is honored to help our community grow and thrive.”
Deanna Head added, “Unitech has been serving the great state of Louisiana in skills and training for twenty-five years now and Mississippi for a year and a half. Our desire to provide quality education at an affordable price remains at the forefront. My goal throughout the years is to make an impact on people’s lives and stay true to our mission: providing the community with a choice of desirable, productive, and well-trained individuals. With the next generation at the helm, I can’t wait to see what happens in the future!”
At the end of June, Unitech is inviting all employees to a 2-day convention at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lafayette to celebrate the company’s 25th Anniversary. The convention will feature keynote guest speakers, educational training courses, and a lively party to celebrate the team.
