FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Southeastern College has announced Julia Corona’s appointment as the school’s new executive director. Corona will oversee operations for the Southeastern College system of schools, including five campuses in Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

“We are pleased to welcome Julia Corona to her new role as Executive Director of Southeastern College,” said Robert Keiser, Ph.D. “She is a natural fit due to her years of leadership and expertise in post-secondary education. As president at Miami Lakes, she led the largest Southeastern College campus to countless achievements through her collaborative, team-oriented approach.”

In previous roles, Corona successfully managed numerous program accreditations and helped obtain approval for multiple programs at Southeastern College. Also, she developed outstanding community partnerships resulting in strong externship sites and high student outcomes in placement and completion.

“I want to thank Dr. Robert Keiser for the opportunity to lead Southeastern College. During my 17 years, I have witnessed the role Southeastern College plays in improving students’ lives. I look forward to continuing the important work Southeastern College campuses contribute to providing post-secondary educational opportunities in their communities.” said Corona.

Corona has received numerous awards for professional achievement, including being named Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges Administrator of the Year in 2018.

Corona holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Franklin University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from California State Polytechnic University.
