Visitors can Tour Labs, Talk to Instructors and Students Jan. 14, 15 or 16
MESA, Ariz. (January 14, 2020) – Pima Medical Institute is excited to welcome prospective students in 2020 during a three-day open house, where guests are welcome to tour the campus, see the labs where students receive hands-on experience, and speak to current students and instructors, so that they may make an informed decision about enrolling in the medical career college.
The open house, which runs Jan. 14, 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., gives prospective students, as well as returning graduates, a chance to check out the campus in a fun, casual setting. It also provides them with the opportunity to meet with instructors, students and staff, where they can ask questions and see firsthand what it’s like to be a Pima Medical student.
Visitors can make an appointment ahead of time, or just stop by. Pima Medical campuses in Arizona, California, Washington State, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Colorado will open their doors to newcomers and returning students alike.
“We want to encourage people to find out how they can obtain a fulfilling healthcare career,” said Pima Medical Institute President and CEO, Fred Freedman. “Our open house provides an opportunity for everyone to see for themselves just how well equipped our medical labs are and how closely training emulates work in the field. This is how we prepare graduates for medical careers.”
For those who haven’t been in a classroom in a while, talking to current students who share similar life experiences can be inspiring and informative. Instructors provide ample coursework information to visitors, while Pima Medical’s admissions and financial aid officers, as well as student services advisers answer the detailed questions a new student may have about how to make school work for them.
Campuses participating in the open house include: Albuquerque and Albuquerque West in New Mexico; Chula Vista and San Marcos, California; Colorado Springs, Aurora and Denver, Colorado; El Paso, Houston and San Antonio, Texas; Mesa, East Valley, Phoenix and Tucson Arizona; Las Vegas, Nevada; Renton and Seattle, Washington.
Pima Medical Institute offers certificate, associate and bachelor’s degree programs—all in the healthcare field. It also has a robust online division. Programs focus on medical, dental and veterinary careers. For more information about Pima Medical and its programs, visit pmi.edu.
