Herzing College has officially absorbed the Pre-apprenticeship Training (PAT) Institute, a tradesschool with campuses in Toronto and Cambridge, Ontario.

Herzing College has officially absorbed the Pre-apprenticeship Training (PAT) Institute, a trades school with campuses in Toronto and Cambridge, Ontario.
Herzing acquired PAT in 2014, and since then, has slowly been integrating the Institute into the Herzing brand.
That process is now complete. The Pre-apprenticeship Training Institute has formally changed its name to Herzing College, and will exist as Herzing’s new division of skilled trades training.
Programs on offer include electrician, carpentry, plumbing, network cabling, HVAC, and gas technician training.
Herzing’s Chief Operations Officer, Frank Cianciaruso, says absorbing PAT will offer Herzing students an even wider variety of training programs and career paths.

Herzing College was founded in 1965, as a school for computer technology training. The college has now expanded into Herzing Institutes of Canada, with campuses in Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, and Winnipeg.
