FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Faculty, staff, and students at Southeastern College Miami Lakes recently ensured needy families in South Florida will be able to host a feast this Thanksgiving. This is the third consecutive year Southeastern College Miami Lakes has participated. Faculty, staff, and students donated more than 400 pounds of food, and raised more than $200 so that each family could purchase a turkey and dessert item from Publix.

HOPE Outreach Center “I am so proud of our faculty, staff and students for helping HOPE Outreach with their Thanksgiving food drive this year,” said Julia Corona, Southeastern College President. “We set a sizable mark for ourselves to ensure as many families as possible could put a hearty Thanksgiving meal on the table; and we achieved our goal.”
