One of Sullivan University’s longtime executives has retired.

Jan Gordon, who has been employed by the Sullivan University System for 41 years, retired on September 27, according to a statement from the school. Gordon had been the executive director for Spencerian College for the last 20 years of her career.

The Sullivan University System merged its three entities — Sullivan University, the Sullivan College of Technology and Design and Spencerian College — into one organization in June 2018. Spencerian College is now known as the College of Allied Health and is based at 4000 Dupont Circle.

“In her 41 years of service to The Sullivan University System, Jan has provided steadfast leadership to students, faculty, and staff,” Glenn Sullivan, president of the Sullivan University System said in the statement. “Her contributions far precede that time and span the decades that she oversaw Spencerian College through its most successful years.”
