LENEXA, Kan. (October 10, 2019) – Thruline Marketing, a leading Kansas-based education marketing agency and career enablement company, recently invested in Premier Nursing Academy.

Thruline’s acquisition of Premier Nursing Academy falls directly in line with the company’s focus on investing in the student journey and initiative to expand employer-sponsored training. Premier Nursing Academy was started with the goal of creating an enrollment-to-employment pipeline after founders, Chris Palevich and his father Rob Palevich recognized a shortage of qualified Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in their area of Fort Wayne, IN. They set out to create a solution that could benefit both employers and those looking for a way into the healthcare profession. Thanks to employer sponsors, Premier Nursing Academy is able to provide no-cost training to all enrollees in addition to guaranteed job placement post-graduation.

“Affordability and accessibility of education are big buzz words in higher education today,” says Mike McHugh, Chief Executive Officer at Thruline. “The key is connecting students to rewarding jobs with career growth opportunities in the most efficient way possible. The Premier Nursing Academy model is unique in solving this problem and offers a great path for individuals to get working in the high-growth healthcare field without the fear of student loans or not having a job after graduation.”

Thruline’s goal of investing in Premier Nursing Academy is to fuel growth and expand training to new markets. Since forming the partnership, Premier Nursing Academy has already expanded training into the Tampa, FL market and officially kicked off the first class in their new facility on August 5th. The partnership with Thruline will allow for further expansion into new markets and hopefully training for additional healthcare specialties in the future.

“We are incredibly excited for the growth of the institution into Florida,” says Matt Killday, Chief Operating Officer. “We have received overwhelming interest from employers who are willing to sponsor and offer employment to our training candidates and see this new location as a preview for future opportunity.”

CNN Business projects a shortage of 95,000 CNAs by 2025, and together, Thruline and Premier Nursing Academy are working diligently to fill this gap.
