Career Quest Appoints Richard Zeeman as COO/Executive Vice President

Lansing, Mich. (October 9, 2019) – Richard Zeeman has been hired by Career Quest Learning Centers (CQLC) as Chief Operations Officer (COO)/Executive Vice President. He reports to the CEO and is responsible for all operational aspects of the institution, as well as directly managing the campus presidents and their respective staffs, the vice president of student experience, the regional director of career services and the director of admissions.

Zeeman is a seasoned operations executive with more than 20 years of extensive leadership experience in post-secondary career based campus/online operations. He is the former executive vice president/COO for Harrison College, as well as the former senior vice president of operations for ITT Educational Services, Inc. In both roles he had direct responsibility for state and national oversight related to daily campus/online operations, regulatory compliance, financial aid, admissions and career services administration. He has previously served as a campus president, regional vice president of operations, corporate vice president, vice president and board secretary and a corporate officer – all in career based education.

Zeeman earned his Associate of Science degree from Marymount College of Kansas; a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Kansas Wesleyan University, finishing third in his class and graduating Magna Cum Laude; and his Master of Arts degree from Baker University School of Graduate and Professional Studies. In 2016, he received an honorary Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) from Daniel Webster College for his many years of work and service to the college.
