KACCS Sets Speakers for 2019 Conference & Exhibition

Louisville, KY – The Kentucky Association of Career Colleges and Schools has announced the program of presentations for its 2019 conference, “Navigating Change through Innovation,” Friday, Aug. 9 in Louisville. They include Zack Lesak (Motivating GenZ Students), Kathy Hays (Cohort Default Management), Yolanda Gallegos (Proposed rules for accreditation of distance education programs), Calvin J. Fortenberry (Student recruitment and retention), Chris Ernst (Making good first impressions), Cristina Vela (Incorporating digital into the classroom) and Gathan Borden (Innovation in marketing).

“We are thrilled to have such a diverse, authoritative array of speakers for our annual membership event,” said Tony Bieda, KACCS Executive Director. “The exhibitors, members and community have really stepped up to make sure this a fabulous event.”

In addition to the professional development and compliance topics, “Navigating change…” will feature a panel of Kentucky Education & Workforce Cabinet leaders, including Misty Edwards from Kentucky Commission on Proprietary Education, Melissa Aguilar from the Office of Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board, and Rachel Adams from the Kentucky Career Center/Eligible Training Provider List.
