Prospect Education Hires Katie Head as Instructional Designer

Reno, NV. (January 10, 2019) – Katie Head has been named Human Resources Instructional Designer (HRID) of Prospect Education, the parent company of Charter College. Katie will work closely with each Department Subject Matter Expert (DSME) to create customized trainings solutions and assessments that enhance the new employee onboarding experience. Head’s main duties include designing, creating, and revising materials for an online format with a focus on the employee experience.

Head has worked in the education sector since 2009, most recently serving as the Instructional Technologist of Palmetto Health in Columbia South Carolina. She has extensive experience in development and implementation of learning materials.

She earned her Master of Education in Education Technology from the University Of South Carolina Aiken and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, with a minor in graphic design, from the University of South Carolina.

Katie spent three years in Hong Kong and South Korea where she created and taught ESL lessons to children of a variety of ages and backgrounds. She also served as a trainer for new teachers, coaching them on effective procedures for classrooms.
