One-on-one meetings will give Vista representatives the opportunity to get to know the students and their educational goals while discussing their options in moving forward

Richardson, TX– December 17, 2018 – With the abrupt closure of Brightwood and Virginia Colleges, Vista College invites displaced students to set up personal appointments with Vista admissions representatives to discuss their educational goals and possible fulfillment opportunities at Vista College. In efforts to support former students of Brightwood and Virginia Colleges, Vista College is carefully reviewing and taking under consideration all previously earned credits. During the one-on-one appointments, Vista can also provide helpful information on potential scholarships, financial assistance for those that qualify, and Vista’s graduate career services assistance program.

“We want to help the former Brightwood and Virginia College students realize their goals and dreams,” said Vista College CEO Jim Tolbert. “We know that they have worked hard and are now trying to figure out their next steps, and we want to assist with that process. Meeting with our admission representatives can help them understand potential options for them at Vista. Our program can also provide them with the flexibility they need as they work toward rewarding careers.”

Helping students advance their careers for over 30 years, Vista College offers a wide variety of diploma, associate and bachelor degrees through its on-ground campuses and online. Sought after programs include medical assisting, dental assistant, electrical tech and information technology, in addition to many other degree plans. Vista College offers numerous career training programs in Texas, New Mexico, and Arkansas as well as the flexibility of online programs. Each career program is staffed with industry leaders and professionals, ensuring students an affordable, quality education that will help them pursue successful careers in their chosen fields. Graduates benefit from Vista’s career services assistance, which includes resume preparation and interview coaching.

Four of Vista’s on-ground campuses located in Beaumont, El Paso, Longview and Lubbock correspond to the cities in which Brightwood and Virginia Colleges have closed. For any former students living too far from these cities, Vista also offers an online program. Go to www.vistacollege.edu for more information and call 1-866-442-4197 to visit with a representative.
