Comprehensive, multi-step system provides clear information to students regarding licensure preparation programs

University of Phoenix is proud to be a recipient of a WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies (WCET) State Authorization Network (SAN) 2018 SANsational Award in the licensure programs category.

This award recognizes outstanding efforts by SAN member institutions and organizations in developing a high-quality, comprehensive solution to any challenging state authorization issue. Work recognized by the SANsational Awards presents solutions that meet the needs of regulators, the institution and, most importantly, students. These efforts serve as models which can be adapted or replicated by other entities.

University of Phoenix was recognized for developing a comprehensive, multi-step system to provide clear information to both current and prospective students regarding licensure preparation programs. The disclosures are available to prospective students via the University of Phoenix website, online catalog and corresponding marketing materials prior to enrollment. Upon enrollment, they are available throughout the student’s program, with multiple checkpoints along the way. University of Phoenix utilizes both specialized and cross-functional teams to ensure notifications and disclosures are current and provide clear and relevant information to students.

“We are honored to receive this award. University of Phoenix believes students should make informed decisions about whether to enroll in a licensure program and these disclosures help them do just that,” said Bridget Beville, senior corporate counsel at University of Phoenix. “Our goal is to provide students with clear, accurate information as they achieve their educational goals.”
