Gail Branch Joins MIAT College of Technology Houston Campus as Director of Career and Student Services
HOUSTON, Texas (Nov. 6, 2018) – Gail Branch, a veteran of the Houston business community, has recently joined the Houston campus of MIAT College of Technology as the Director of Career and Student Services. Branch brings 20 years of experience in staffing and workforce development to MIAT.
In her new position, Branch leads the MIAT Career and Students Services team responsible for assisting MIAT Houston students and graduates with employment opportunities and other career services requirements. Her work involves helping students with skills such as resume development and interviewing strategies. She also serves as a liaison between students and employers, helping current students and graduates make connections with hiring managers and industry associations in the greater Houston area as well as other regions of the United States.

Our students and graduates will benefit from Gail’s relationships and understanding of the skills that are much needed for jobs in aviation, manufacturing and other industries within the Greater Houston Market and beyond. Branch will support MIAT students by providing resources and data that enable them to make informed career choices. She will leverage her experience in networking, sales, and business management to establish and maintain systems that address students’ career-oriented needs such as job fairs and web-based recruitment opportunities

In addition to Aviation Maintenance Technology, MIAT offers programs full-time in Heating Ventilating Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR), Energy, and Wind Power. The school’s curriculum for the Aviation Maintenance Technology Associate in Applied Science degree and Airframe and Powerplant Technician certificate is approved by the FAA under CFR Part 147.
