Sullivan University coming to Mayfield – Murray Ledger & Times

Sullivan University operating out of Louisville announced Monday night that it would be setting up shop in Mayfield.

The announcement came during the Monday meeting of the Graves County Fiscal Court, and Graves County Judge-Executive Jesse Perry said it was exciting news for Mayfield and Graves County.

“Their home is in Louisville and we have had several conversations over the last two or three years, and so many trips with representatives coming to Mayfield and look at different sites,” Perry said.

According to a press release from the university presented at the meeting, the university provides education programs and work skills training and wishes to set up a learning center in Mayfield. The center is set to be located on Paris Road and is set to open in early 2019.

David Keene, vice president of community partnerships was present during the Monday meeting to talk to the court and the community about the university’s plans in Graves County.
