[Bridgeview, IL] Northwestern College and the Bridgeview Chamber of Commerce & Industry partnered this month to present a workshop on social media to members of the Chamber. The one hour event on Wednesday, October 24, “The Power of Facebook Live,” was offered by the Chamber, with the College – a long-time Chamber member – providing use of its Bridgeview auditorium (7725 S. Harlem Avenue).
The social media workshop was offered free of charge to Bridgeview Chamber members and included a light lunch. It was presented by Jean Kuhn, a business strategist, franchisee marketing coach, professional speaker and author. Approximately twenty (20) people took time from their lunch hours to attend. Kuhn’s presentation focused on use of Facebook as a marketing tool and touched upon topics such as how to increase customer reach; how to retain clients that stay longer; how to get over 100 views from videos; and how to create instant credibility.
Northwestern College strives to be a good neighbor and active member of the Bridgeview community, and has maintained consistent membership in the Bridgeview Chamber of Commerce & Industry since opening its Bridgeview campus.
