[Tulsa, Oklahoma, September 25, 2018] – SERVPRO of South Tulsa County, Edmond, and Stillwater/Guthrie officials donated an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to Community Care College. This was the third donation of an AED that SERVPRO has presented to an Oklahoma School. Eddie Green, Director of Business Development at SERVEPRO, presented the AED to Community Care College faculty and staff on Tuesday, September 25th, 2018.

“You never know when an emergency could happen. Having this AED donated to us could help us to save a life and that is invaluable to Community Care College. Contacting ServPro for the possibility of donating an AED to your school could help you save a life as well. ServPro has helped us numerous times when we were hit by the tornado, and again when we had a small flood. Their generous act of donating these AEDs is just another way to show how SERVPRO cares for the community,” commented Misty Green, Medical Billing and Coding Department Head of Community Care College.

SERVPRO is a disaster restoration company working to help those in need in the state of Oklahoma. Each quarter, SERVPRO picks one school to donate an AED to. An AED is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias which can lead to a sudden cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest is a serious condition where individuals can experience an unexpected loss of heart function, breathing, and consciousness. In some cases, cardiac arrest can be fatal.
