Interested Employers Still Welcome to Register!

[Bridgeview, IL] Northwestern College understands the importance of getting its graduates out of the classroom and into good paying jobs. There is no better way to ensure that then to bring employers right to its campus! On Thursday, May 24, Northwestern College will be hosting its Spring 2018 Healthcare Career Fair from 9:30 am to Noon. The event will take place at the College’s Bridgeview Campus located at 7725 S. Harlem Avenue, and will focus primarily on healthcare-related careers. The event is free of charge and students and alumni, as well as members of the public, are invited to attend.

Limited space is still available for employers connected to these fields to participate. Businesses, organizations, and employers will have the ability to recruit, screen, and interview candidates right on the spot, with participants urged to arrive in professional attire and with prepared resumes to present. Employers seeking additional information can visit www.nc.edu/careerfair, or contact Northwestern College’s Office of Career Development at 708-237-5050 Ext. 2630 with any questions.

This will be Northwestern College’s second career fair to focus primarily on healthcare-related careers. The first one was offered in November of 2017 and garnered significant interest, especially for students graduating in the middle of the academic year. Northwestern College’s School of Health Sciences and Violet L Schumacher School of Nursing comprise approximately 85% of the College’s student body. As this sector of its population continues to grow, so does the need for good paying jobs within the healthcare industry for its graduates to fill.

For 116 years, Northwestern College has been offering higher education opportunities to students in the Chicagoland area seeking the necessary skills for high-interest careers in the workforce. The opportunity to bring its graduates in contact with employers in need of these skills is imperative; Northwestern College continues to make that connection for its students throughout the year via its Office of Career Development, and now twice a year by bringing employers right to its campus to interview graduating students.
